I have been trying to complete my tax returns for 2020 thro taxisnet, just cannot find the forms to complete, I expect I am doing something stupid, any info would be appreciated.

Dont think the 2020 forms have been released yet.....last year they came out around Oct I think

The forms must be 'out' as our accountant has done our calculations and submitted them via Taxisnet.

Maybe our accountant is just doing the calculations at the office ready for the forms. But we have been told No Tax To Pay.
It was because of problems with the forms last year that we got an accountant

Our accountant prepared the paperwork for 2020 tax year in January - quite often it is not entered onto the Taxisnet system until July and then we get a printout out of the submitted form by email for our records. Appreciate many people do it themselves but one job I am happy to leave to an expert.

Just been with our man this morning he said he cannot enter the information on taxisnet as they have not got the forms ready yet and the payment date has been extended to end of september at the moment.

What exchange rate is recommended for 2020?

I e-mailed the Tax Dept on 10 May 21 for the 2020 exchange rates to be used for GBP to Euro, here is the reply:

The exchange rate for converting euros into pound sterling is-
1eur = 0.88970 GBP - average exchange rate for 2020
1eur = 0.89903 GBP - exchange rate as at 31/12/2020

You can use either to convert taxable income from pound sterling into euro
to complete your tax return for 2020.

Note that the exchange rates are sourced by the European Central Bank.

Log IN
Select= Returns Management and hit Submit/view returns,
Select - Tax returns for Individuals and hit Submit(Declaration completion),
Choose the 2020 Tax year.

I completed mine yesterday. It took around 20 mins maximum and I wasn't rushing.

Now what I need is the exchange rate for 2021 in order to calculate temporary tax. Anyone know?

Can anyone tell me what the Sterling to Euro exchange rate is for the 2020 taxation tax year.
