FC Bayern Munich 9 times in a row German Champions..Yes

Post by cyprusmax47 »

I am going to watch the match of FC Bayern tonight very relaxed, as they won the title already this afternoon as the second placed club Leipzig lost its game. With only two more matches to play they are leading with 7 points. It is their 9th title in a row and they won the title since they are in the highest league in 1963 already 31 times.... Wow!

Congratulations Bayern, but I have to agree its
the same as the Scottish league, I like Bayern but for any team to win nine consecutive titles, shows how poor the other teams are.

You can call the German Bundesliga "crap", however the difference to England and other European football nations (Spain,Italy) is that the 5-6 top clubs are owned by foreign investors. With their endless money available, they can buy every player and also the top coaches for their clubs.
If you look back the last 13 years or so in the Premier League, than Chelsea won 3x the title, City 4x, MANU 5x., all owned by super rich foreigners...

There is no German Bundesliga club owned by Investors and I prefer that system. Anyhow FC Bayern Munich won last year the sextuble of the last season, winning league, both domestic cups, Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup. Only one team has managed that before: Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona. Last night they trashed Moenchengladbach 6:0 in an empty Munich stadium, where normally 80.000 would have celebrated the title win with them...

You can only beat the teams in front of you on a league basis but the fact the Bayern Munich still have European success makes them a pretty useful team in my book.

I really wish that ALL European club ownership was based on the same model as Germany

Totally agree with you about the English game, re ownership and Chelsea and Man city have bought their success but it still doesn't change the fact that the German league is extremely poor, any team that wins, nine titles on the run, plus all the cups, only goes to show that the rest of the league is very poor , its the same in Scotland were Celtic won nine titles on the go, or Spain were Real and Barcelona dominate.,
Ask yourself if Bayern were in the English Premiouship, would they win nine titles in a row ?, there's your answer.
