Akoursos to Chloraka Green Point - in 4k!

Post by Dominic »

This is last Wednesday's drive from Akoursos to Chloraka Green Point. We go via the coast road, then through Lempa and Chloraka. This film features our new dashboard, which highlights milestones along the way.

Please let us know what you think of the new dashboard.

Road Trip #1
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

Road Trip #2
Let us take you away from your poolside into the countryside of Paphos. Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

I like the progress bar, (maybe it could be in a contrasting colour against the grey background?)
It would be particularly helpful during videos running from village to village etc.

A bit off topic, but I really love the run from Kissornega towards Coral Bay, when you take the left hand bend down the hill and the view opens up, the colour of the water is beautiful.
It reminds me of the drive home near Bishopton with a similar view down the river Clyde. The difference is the sun rarely shines here and the view is usually obscured by rain😩

The progress bar changes from grey to white as the film advances.

Yeah I know, just didn't feel it was that obvious, therefore thought maybe a darker colour would help.
Only a suggestion, not a big deal though.
The addition on the bar is very good though.
Thanks

It's a tough one. If it is too dark then it obscures the text below and is less useful. I think it might be because I made the white / grey boundary have a gradient edge, so it isn't completely obvious that it is changing.

I agree, but it is welcome feedback. And it had been niggling me a bit too.
