Paphos municipality on Tuesday announced there would be water cuts in various parts of town due to damage to the Water Development Department???s pipeline.???It is expected that there will be a problem with the water supply in various areas of the city,??? the municipality said in a brief announcement....

I wonder where the damage was, and how it was caused ?

Or it might be damage to mains water supply pipes at one of the construction sites. Such things do happen!

Well haven't noticed any water cuts here. But your idea of job stickers or something marking utility cables or pipes sounds good.

Yes. a good idea! If your idea was adopted, the JCB's at Kamares, would be bearers of many of such stickers. While living there, we noticed that for every house being developed in our neighbourhood, we could expect some water or electricity outages.
They often seemed to manifest themselves soon after the construction workers had left on a Friday afternoon,..
