The Old Town has been undergoing a facelift over the last few years, and the work is still continuing. So we thought it about time we had another look around. The good news is that the Old Town is open for business. What's missing at the moment, is you. Over the next few blogs we will show you exactly what you are missing, so jump in and have a look around...

I always enjoy your dialogue Dominic as well as your photographs. Only comments I would like to add is about that lift to the market area. We have used it many times in the past but it did look a bit dodgy. Always wondered if the emergency button worked & secondly my wife particularly loved mooching around the area which now looks fit for purpose

Glad you like the dialogue. Sometimes it is hard to supply words to accompany pictures in the blogs, but with the old town it is easy.

Paphos Old Town Part 1
Thank you Dominic for your great photos and although I live in the Old Town it is still great to see the various aspects that are often missed by tourists.
The lift opposite the market mentioned in a previous post is fully working but not always open for use whereas the lift by Cafe Nero is always in use.
The wall which had one of the large murals has been repaired and painted over but I believe the owners have given permission for it to be redone and the Italian artist and his team are apparently due back in July.
