Thank goodness Cyprus started to vaccinate the elderly as soon as it started to receive the Pfizer vaccine at the end of December. The speedy roll out of which ever vaccine was received by the Govt to enable vaccinations to start has no doubt saved a lot of elderly people, as well as front line medical staff.
Plus of course the strict measures put in place by the Govt to keep people at home, except for essential journeys, but wearing masks and essential social distancing when out.
Maybe if Limassol hadn't had that stupid carnival weekend, while ignoring Govt advice, there wouldn't be so many cases of covid in the Limassol area now.
