This is encouraging, especially for Birdlife which has been trying to get these barbaric practices banned. But, wonder what if any difference it may make here?
It is well known that Ambelipoulia is very popular and lucrative for the people who do it, and with a certain section of the Cypriots, and that last time efforts were made to ban lime sticks and mist nets, even some MP's were against any new measures... Never the less,it's time that these awful illegal activities were banned with whatever it takes..
