Is anyone aware of new rule changes when applying for Cypriot Citizenship?
My wife received a post from a Russian Chat Forum saying that application was now after 12 years instead of 7, Have to have spent 7 years in country out of the last 10. Greek language up to level B,
A test on Cyprius and its history held in front of a panel of 3 and the list goes on.
I wonder if this includes golden passport applicants?

as for having to speak the language, good luck with that one. I know expats who have lived here for years and still don't know what kalimera means.

Re: Citizenship
This the link which is in Greek but it affects people applying after 7 years, not spouses of Cypriot Citizens.
