Is there more to this than we know? I thought that human trafficing was a serious crime whether it was here or in Bulgaria. Surely she should have been deported back to her own country. It seems odd that she's still here, but having to report to the police station every day....

You can't just deport someone without a judge, looking at the evidence, I'm sure Bulgaria will summit some evidence, and if its kosher the lady will be on her way, that's how it works in most democratic country's.

I think she has played a curve ball in the hopes that it will go away in a sea of EU/Bulgarian/Cypriot courts and police red tape, bureaucracy and appeals causing delays

She has stumped up € 6K in cash and a € 50K guarantee provided is immaterial as long as she doesn't mind a daily autograph signing at Pafos Police Station, she is free to go about her life

It looks messy to me : An EU National in an EU Country claiming Human Rights v 2Non Schengen EU countries

Sounds like a honey pot for all the legal vultures who will see a mountain of big fees to earn

Perhaps the phrase " does not consent" should read "contests" - it's in the translation. Then this topic would not exist,

Without wishing to stir up a hornet's nest or resurrect the In and Out vote or Brexit.

it does look very much like the post made by user Mouse corresponds with what my original thoughts were on this particular matter being discussed

Maybe I am reading things wrongly or maybe not ? Or am I missing a point perhaps ??
