Walking along the costal path today saw 6 aircraft in about the space of 30-45 mins flying into Paphos airport, they all seemed to be dumping fuel over the sea. Assumed they were diverted for some reason,anyone know anything?

I looked on flight radar and noticed a Ryan air flight, from Pafos to Pafos. Earlier, when I was out cycling, I saw a plane landing and then taking off from the airport. This used to happen regularly, on a Tuesday, when it was a quiet airport day and it was a pilot practisising landing and takeoff.

theres been a khaki camo colored military helicopter these last couple of days come over the village from Armou Marathounta direction down to the Elea golf course and then to the airport flying really low couldn't get any markings ot ID

Yes, there was a military SAR exercise between Cyprus and France. SAR= search and rescue
