The good weather on Boxing Day prompted a group of excursionists to go for a picnic in the area of the Pikni forest in Paphos but it didn't end well when they were caught in the act by police.Ten people were booked for violating Covid decrees related to gatherings....

It seems a dotty restriction to me, as you can apparently have 10 (9) people visiting you at home, regardless of size of the room, yet you can't go outside with more than one other person.
Many people I know belong to walking groups, at present these groups are unable to meet at all! Surely fresh air and exercise in a group, socially distanced and wearing masks should be beneficial to health? Not to mention morale...
I know people who had a 3 night Christmas break at a hotel, all hygiene measures were taken and masks worn except when eating and drinking..
No problems, so it must have been legal...
