Re: Easyjet Flights have been released
Well, we booked for Oct 2020, then postponed it to May 2021, now just moved it to Oct 2021

Re: Easyjet Flights have been released
We sadly have to return to Stalag Luft Wales on Saturday but will be returning in April, if not sooner. It all depends on the schedule for the Wife's hip replacement.
Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day.
Re: Easyjet Flights have been released
I have over €300 worth of vouchers from flights cancelled back in May this year and they are only valid until April 2021. My thinking is that I may as well use them by making a booking - even if I end up changing the flights again.
Re: Easyjet Flights have been released
Galini, I'm in the same position as you with around €500 in EasyJet vouchers. I have already changed my first (cancelled ) voucher due to expire in Apr21, for another flight in Apr 21. There was money left over and EJ told me that they would add it to my 2nd voucher which expires in Jul21. I plan to book another return flight with them later next year. The lady I spoke to was very helpful.

Re: Easyjet Flights have been released
I accepted Easy Jets vouchers, partly because I and others who I've spoken to since, recognise that airlines who are unable to operate flights are under tremendous financial pressure. I did the same with a well known and trusted travel company. I've now booked a return flight with EasyJet and rearranged my holiday booking for next year.
The strange circumstances we are in with this Corona Virus are unparrelled, both companies I left with a little extra liquidity in their bank accounts will hopefully survive if others have also resisted the urge to get their refund immediately.

Personally, I think that EJ has behaved very well in that it has given all customers whose flight has been cancelled (by them) various options. All the airlines are suffering huge financial losses. EJ was reported as having to sell some of its aircraft, and then putting most of its employees out on furlough.
Its in our interests here to keep EJ in business, as under normal circumstances, the likes of Jet2 and Tui only operate when they are selling holidays to Cyprus. Whereas EasyJet offers a scheduled service throughout the year to many airports in the UK. BA mainly flies to Paphos in summer.
Ryanair does not have such a big route network in the UK when compared with EJ. People living in the west or south west of England are out of luck as RyanAir do not fly to either Birmingham or Bristol.

I agree
We had a 'special' trip planned with three families on three separate flights all requiring C19 tests pre-flight.
Something was bound to go wrong to make the break less 'special' so we took them up on their very generous offer to move the dates to next year without an admin fee.
We have since moved them again, which was the reason that I started this thread.
