Normally a sure sign of water pollution either sewage or run off of fertiliser etc after the rain .

I would imagine it far more likely that the currents caused by the storm brought them in.

Jellyfish are now causing a problem at Ta Bania,quite a few swimmers were stung this morning.

I too had a mild sting at Ta Bania this morning....not pleasant....
I think I saw the culprit, little bar steward....

I have swum in the harbour at Ag Georgios a couple of times this week and have not come across jelly fish. It could be an alternative place to swim, if the weather isn't too bad over the next couple of days.

Lots of them further along the beach today near the Olympic Lagoon.
