Great advertisement for Cyprus with the European golf tour playing at Athrodite Hills last weekend and this weekend. Sky Sports coverage showing the course and surrounding areas off to there best.

Nice post bmw. Wife is a golfer & pulls me away from watching things I am more interested in. "Look at the fantastic weather" Have visited the golf course many times but to me its just a piece of land where people are hitting a little ball around. Any flat green bowlers on this forum? That's what I do

Appreciate your thoughts JW on golf as Mark Twain once said its a good walk spoilt but I doubt many hundreds of greens bowlers will be enticed to Cyprus to play bowls whereas these two tournaments have put Cyprus on the golfing map and are been broadcast worldwide. Cyprus attracts many golfers already with its 4 courses located in Paphos region hopefully this will attract even more which in these times can only be good for the local economy.
