So what happens in an enclosed space like a restaurant? Will people have to don a mask when not actually eating? As meals out are a very sociable events and people may sit up to 10:to a table.

Instead of asking others on a forum, why didn't you ask them, why they were not wearing their masks properly?

In a restaurant/bar/coffee shop we follow our own rules so we wear a mask at all times apart from when we are seated at the table and always choose a table away from groups of more than 4 people at a table. In some places we physically move the table and chairs! I also disinfect areas where I may rest my hands/forearms as many places just give the table top a quick wipe between customers. No one seems to bother yet it means we can relax and enjoy the meal/drinks without having any concerns about what everybody else is doing.
