What a colourful early morning today....

Luckily I had a look what the weather will be today as we had some clouds yesterday afternoon.
What I saw was very promising, so I took my camera, and here is the result.

Tiny moon at the top of the pic and still quite dark...


but this changed very quick and clouds on the horizon turned red










I just love the clouds are back after weeks and weeks without any in the mornings




first birds in the sky


slowly the sun comes up and the colours disappear


and here we are..

Could have sworn I posted a reply this morning.

I saw the same clouds Max, just an hour or two later. They were white on blue then, but still looked pretty impressive. Certainly makes a change from uniform blue all day.

So, in this case the saying: "Red sky in morning, sailor's warning" did not happen, as today no clouds to be seen....
