Independance dayis usually marked by a military parade, but haven't seen anything about this in the paper. So, I guess that civil servants of all branches and bank employees will probably have the day off. Some shops and the supermarkets will probably be open.Otherwise, the air will be fragrant with the smell from BBQ's, and many Racks containing Souvla will be turning above the hot charcoal.
