Want to know why I have a Lexus? There are 2 very good reasons:
1. I had previously a Honda hybrid but it was increasingly difficult for me to get in and out of it because I have 2 thoracic vertebrae and 2 or 3 at the bottom, which are all crushed (I have lost over 10 cm in height because of this). I test drove every hybrid I could find and the cheapo Lexus CT 200 H was the only one that made me feel comfortable on a 40 km test drive.
2. as an environmentalist, I had to get a hybrid car. The Lexus is essentially the same as a Toyota Prius with a couple of additional bells and whistles, including good seating. Happily, I got it considerably cheaper because they were just changing their stock to the newer model, so it cost me less than the latest Prius!
I am very happy for you with the car that you like. I think you will agree that the choice of a car is not just price, appearance, performance, utility et cetera. It is a combination of perhaps even 10 or more factors to suit the individual and his circumstances.
