We watched this 3 part series on our MAGs it is one of the best but hard to watch series on TV at this moment. he was an awful man..

Dennis Nilsen (1945–2018)
Dennis Andrew Nilsen, 1945 in Strichen, Fraserburgh, Scotland, also known as the Muswell Hill Murderer is a British serial killer who lived and murdered in London. In 1983 he was convicted of six murders and two attempted murders and is believed to have killed at least 15 men and boys between 1978 and 1982. He abhorred cruelty to animals, yet thought nothing of cutting up mens bodies.

The program also shows how poor the Met Police were at that time in terms of investigation, planning and recording of interviews and how terrible senior officers were.

Otherwise a very interesting series.

It highlighted how difficult policing was though compared to today without the computerised resources we have now. Trying to trace people when you couldn’t just access fingerprints, cases and databases online!
