Musicians

Post by G Dog »

Hi
Does anyone know of a musicians directory, or where to get some contacts in the Paphos area. I'm looking of joining or perhaps forming a band.
Many thanks

Sorry I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. I never mentioned employment. People do actually play music for fun you know. Don't know where the employment thing kicked in.

Hi - Ignore that last post - we have a lot of very talented musicians in Cyprus - and they are not all old!! There is a Facebook page - Musicians in Cyprus - where there are links to various groups. There are also several places that have jamming sessions. God luck. 😁😁

You cannot ignore that post about musicians supplementing their pension.. Because I just don't know I cannot say whether some musicians give their time and talents for free..
But I do know that Pubs, Clubs, Hotels and Restaurants pay musicians to entertain their customers..
Why not, it brings in extra people who are spending on food and drink
Trev..

Thanks Lucky Lady, that's the sort of thing I was looking for.

So that's why Mick Jagger's still poncing about like a 15 year old!
