Lunch restaurants that use aircon
Lunch restaurants that use aircon
We are looking for cafes/restaurants in Paphos and Limassol that turn on their aircon. Many restaurants have aircon. Few actually use it. We are looking for lunch places in particular. Appreciate any ideas.

Maybe the restaurants have been told their aircon doesn't meet with coronavirus standards & therefore cannot turn it on!

Probably to save a bit of cash, as businesses are suffering from no tourists?mike strand2 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 1:01 pm Maybe the restaurants have been told their aircon doesn't meet with coronavirus standards & therefore cannot turn it on!

Letymbou tavern doesn’t have air con on, but inside is lovely and cool as it’s a stone building
Also Viklari (Last Castle) has built in natural air conditioning

In order to have the aircon on they have to have the windows open so it’s a pointless exercise.WHL wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 1:27 pmProbably to save a bit of cash, as businesses are suffering from no tourists?mike strand2 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 1:01 pm Maybe the restaurants have been told their aircon doesn't meet with coronavirus standards & therefore cannot turn it on!

I believe this is the relevant protocol regarding use of air conditioners:
