Of the private hospitals as far as I know only Iasis has one, but that is the ‘open’ type which maybe preferable for those who suffer from claustrophobia. But there are now a number of others in specialist radiography centres. See the links already posted.

I was there the other day (knee problems); very easy to find and easy to park.
If coming down from the General hospital towards the motorway take the first left after the roundabout and then first right and it's on the right. It's well sign posted.

Our family have used the George Vorkas MRI scanner in the last couple of months and the cost was €300.
About 4 months ago I had an MRI scan at the Paphos Diagnostic Centre. That was via Gesy and cost €40.. BUT the waiting list for non urgent cases is around 2 to 3 months

I initially had an appointment for 16th March but was called to go in on the 29th January. The receptionist said there are a lot of cancellations.

Anyone needing a MRI scan in Paphos should read the Google reviews first - I wish I had done before my visit !!

Is this a review of MRI scans in General, or of a particular place. I had an MRI scan in Paphos and have no complaints ..

There are many MRI scan places in Paphos, I'm glad you were pleased with your choice, I wasn't and wished I would have checked out the Google reviews and made a more informed choice before deciding which one to go with. I would have probably chosen a 4 or 5 star review establishment rather than the 1 or 2 star one I ended up with.

Last week I had an MRI at the Paphos Diagnostic Centre under Gesy for €10\ I waited around 2 weeks for the appointment. Results available within 10 working days. Lovely staff there, very welcoming.

George Vorkas is also good, have used him several times in the past. only privately and the results are made available while you wait, in Greek or English.

Totally agree. I had a MRI on Friday with Dr Vorkas and paid €20 that included €10 for the contrast medium. I have used Dr Vorkas for years. A very nice man with excellent staff. I was seen promptly and was out in 45 minutes. The appointment took three weeks on GESY but could have been the 'next day' if private.
