Yes, I got some from Paphos Home Market a few months back, when I go into my man cave tomorrow, I’ll look up the product name for you.

Rustoleum Super Grip, 750ml tin covers 6sq m, clear finish.

Paphos Home Market stock the non slip tape. Ideal for step edges as OP says.

We used a nonslip paint on the steps of our old place and after 2 years, It was peeling off and I had to scrape the rest off.
Waste of money in my mind!

You can get non slip tiles, tiles with a slightly roughened surface. I have them in bathrooms and they are much safer. You can also get them for patios and steps. Ask at a good tile shop.
They should be compulsory around swimming pools to help avoid accidents. Also crazy paving and some stone surfaces are suitable, but not polished as with marble of course.

Me too, not what I thought when I bought it. Ah well, perhaps I’ll try a test patch in an unobtrusive area before thinking about using it.
