Can anyone recommend a sealing material for natural limestone crazy paving?

Re: Natural limestone crazy paving
If you buy a liquid sealant for patio's it is just PVA (wood glue) mixed with water, it works well and much cheaper to make your own.
Mix a little PVA with water, about a cup full to 3 or 4 gallons, put in a watering can and pour on the patio, spread it with a sweeping brush.
It will dry a little shiny but soon looks normal.

If you use PVA it will need applying on a regular basis as it is water soluble and if the area is subject to subject to exposure to rain and damp it will soon wash away. You need to use a spirit based sealant. I have used one from ‘one stop ‘ I think the make was barratine.

I cannot remember the name, but I got from a builders merchant up the Mesogi Road... I wanted it for a limestone crazy edge on the tapered edge on my roof... to water seal it...
