Phew!! 48*C on our back patio even with the blinds down .moved all our plants ,tomatoes, cucumbers and beans into the shade first thing this morning.
My pool is up to 28*c so will be in there a bit later .
According to Wunderground, it is 42c at Paphos Airport. 33c in our house at Anarita and we have just put the aircon on whilst we have lunch. Have never known it as hot in May. Thank goodness it is not humid.
Had a lovely swim in the pool this morning and will go in again later. We have been swimming in it now since the beginning of April when it was 22c and for the past fortnight it has been around 24c. Last night and today it is 27c and no doubt will get warmer.

We have quite a good breeze here at the moment. Enough to make me lower the Brolly on the patio table.. I will be lunching inside to keep cool
Yes, we have a sheet over the rabbit's run, to give her extra shade. The wind keeps blowing it off.
