A few days ago we put together a little film showing some of the things we missed in the lockdown. We made the film because somebody was pining for Jumbo. We asked what people were missing, and this blog is a result of that. You can also see that we have been upgrading the capabilities of our blog system during lockdown. We hope you like the change.

Re: What We Miss
If there’s one thing we have decided during this phase, it’s that we will certainly getting out to more to visit the beautiful places that we put off whilst saying “ we’ll do that soon”.
We are so lucky to have such beauty on our doorsteps and the near surroundings that cost nothing to visit and marvel over.

Yep, you don't know what you've got until you no longer have it.

Well the beautiful places and landscapes will still be there when ever the lockdown finishes! The thing that I’ll miss is not seeing the spring greens and the flowers, my favourite time of year.
But somethings that I miss a lot are the delivery of the UK TV magazines and the delivery of English magazines. There is plenty of time to read books, but I also like to read ‘womens stuff’ contained in my favourite magazine! I’m not keen on searching for these things on line, it’s not the same...

Re: What We Miss
There is certainly a difference between reading a magazine and reading something on a tablet.
Magazines are weird. When I was young, PC and home computer mags were all over the place in WH Smith. Now, they virtually don't exist. But still magazines like What HiFi, and What Camera? are on the shelves.

Maybe information technology has become far too complex for journalists to understand. This does not necessarily stop them from writing rubbish but, sooner or later, people won't buy it, therefore the magazines disappear from the shelves. This does not stop some journalists from writing rubbish on the Internet but the good stuff is found there as well! My view!

Not at all. People just stopped buying computer mags.
