They are beautiful pictures Max, my favorite is the zoomed in picture of the flower.
I have to say not one day goes by when I don't count my blessings for living in this amazing country, as you say we are all truly lucky.

Glad you like the photos. As you enjoyed the pic from the caper bush the most, here another one. Do you know that the flower is dead within hours in full sunshine, like the one you can see on the left-hand side but other flowers open in the evening...
To me the main reason why we´re lucky seems to be way the coronavirus is contained here and how government is handling it. E. g. tomorrow my neighbour who is an essential worker will be tested preventatively for the virus. If you compare the number of deaths per million of population as well as the number of tests per million Cyprus is doing very well compared to other countries (see here:https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries ). I think I´ll cancel my summer trip to Germany as I feel safer here.
I had never heard of a caper bush, and quite sad that the flowers don't last, but they are stunning, thanks for sharing Max.
We are fortunate to be living in a country which is doing everything right, I also feel very safe here, and after watching the BBC news every evening I am so glad we left the UK when we did,
