Liverpool FC & The Premier League

Post by memory man »

Liverpool might miss out on the title following the suspension of Premier League matches.

Liverpool are currently top of the league and have a 25 point lead over second placed Manchester City with nine games left to play.

What a non issue. If the worst comes to the worst they just have to use the current positions as final standings.

Can you imagine the moaning and groaning and how the world is against us IF the FA did the right thing and cancelled the PL 2019/20 season as null and void so Liverpool didn't get the title!
We can live in hope.

That wouldn't be the right thing though. Any idiot can see that Liverpool have won it this year. Were they only 5 points in front then you would have a point, but to hope to deny them now is just bloody ridiculous, and completely and utterly unsporting.

I think the remaining games will be played before the new season, wed and sat , relegation with out playing the final games!,,,,,,would result in law suits all over the place

They said that about Devon Loch, Botham 1983 Ashes at Headingly, 1988 Wimbledon FA Cup winners, Man U CL final winners in 1999, Spurs winning the 2019 CL semi final in the last few minutes when all appeared lost.

Who mentioned Hillsborough and what has it got to do with the 2019/20 season?

Gavin Hasting missed penalty in 1991 World Cup semi final to beat England.
