Car Hire out of hours Manchester airport

Help! I'm trying to book car hire at Manchester airport but the EasyJet flight arrives at 1.30 in the morning. Trying to go direct with Enterprise, it says that the office is closed at that time and won't let me book. Equally on the Hertz website it says they are closed at 11.30pm although it will let me book. Several sites such as easycar.com do offer car hire but I don't know who the companies will be. Can anyone reassure me that if I book, I won't turn up to a closed office!

We went to UK twice last year both times through Manchester AP. Each time we landed early hours in the morning & used Europcar, they are open 24 hours! They are located in the Car Rental Village about 2 miles from the Terminal & you pick up their courtesy bus just outside the terminal exit on the left hand side.

Ah that answers my question. The car rental desks in the airport apparently all close at 11.30. I wasn't aware of the offsite rental village and courtesy bus. I did call Manchester airport customer service as their car hire page allows you to book through them but didn't say anything about out of hours collection. They told me 'they had no idea' and I should contact the rental companies! Perhaps they should at least hold the bare minimum info about the rental village and the courtesy bus!

One other thing worth mentioning is when you get to the courtesy bus pick up point (about 150 yards left of the exit) don't try to use the phone to request a bus? When it's out of hours, ie when it's after 11.30, the bus runs on a set schedule so just wait & one will turn up reasonably soon? Nobody will answer the phone anyway!

Why not check in to the Radisson Blu Jeanne which is actually on the Airport - get a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast and start your journey in the morning?

We have done the overnight hotel bit and started fresh in the morning..
