Seems a reasonable, thing to do, most people nowadays have got phones/tablets etc so they can keep in contact via facetime etc.Paphos Life wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 8:14 am Paphos General Hospital is still treating patients but no visitors are currently being permitted to visit inpatients, according to officials....

Two excellent hot meals and breakfast every day - even offered (and accepted) a different main course when I explained I didn't eat beef.WHL wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 11:11 amIve seen the hospital food here and it isn't as bad as some try to make it out.mike strand2 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 10:03 am But will the patients survive on watery soup & lentils?
Alas, the lady in the bed next to me was nil by mouth so I sat on the edge of my bed facing away from her!
Re: Visitors not permitted at Paphos general hospital
I was once laid up in a swanky private hospital in the UK with a broken jaw. They gave me toast for breakfast, despite the fact that my jaw was wired up. And to go with my soup I would get a block of ice cream which I would have to let melt for an hour.
The painkillers they gave me to sleep at night made up for it though. Some green liquid that sent me to lala land with a smile on my face. I remember I would drink it then have a shuffle around the room before it fully took over, just so I could get a decent hit.
