What is that happy number of pancakes you can eat before being heartily sick of them? 3? 4? 8?

The Scottish term used for American style ‘fluffy’ pancakes, is “dropped-scones” - rather than the flatter type - so Self-Raising flour over Plain flour.

Ours were so good - I made a second batch before we finished the first lot. Still time to have more later today!
