When connecting our new apartment the CYTA engineer mentioned we would be getting a free upgrade of 10mb to 20mb.

Yes TandC we got ours this morning :

"Dear Customer,

As from 1st March 2020, Cyta will proceed with an upgrade of your Internet Home service. The upgrade includes a faster speed and enhanced security from internet threats by blocking the access to malicious websites that:
• are designed to infect your devices with malware and viruses
• aim to steal personal information, financial data or passwords.
Information about the Internet Home upgrade is shown in the table below."

Mine wasn’t there yesterday , but it is today . Now up to 20mb from 10 . Happy days .

Three different offers = three different prices

Internet Home - For customers that have an existing telephone line or broadband access and wish to connect to the Internet.

Internet Home without Telephony - For customers that wish to connect to the Internet without a telephone line.

Internet Home + Telephony - For customers that wish to have a telephone line and also connect to the Internet.

I gather some people have been upgraded and some have not been upgraded YET. Since the upgrading our 20 Mb connection has been so slow ... I suspect that Cyta is “fiddling”.

Why would they be fiddling? Just do a speed test.

I do a speed test every day or two, which is how I know my internet speed is all over the place.
