BFBS Radio 2 Problems

I am an avid listener of the above radio Programme but it suddenly disappeared on Monday morning - I now get a North Cyprus Turkish Music Programme! It was on 92.10 FM. and featured BBC Radio 4 and Five Live.

We get the signal from Mount Olympus as we are directly opposite it. Can anyone help, please?

I like to listen BFBS1 but since a couple of days the signal (Monday 11am) is very poor. Today
they mentioned 6am that at the moment maintenance work is going on
which effects stations away from Akrotiri.

I received a reply from a msg sent to BFBS. They have confirmed that they are carrying out maintenance on their transmitters and apologised for the interruption. They hope to be back in the very near future. xx

Thanks for the info, really missing BFBS radio 1 as I get ready for work. Downloaded the app on my phone today but I'd rather listen through the radio. Hope it's back to full strength soon.

Yeh! BFBS is back as normal. Thank goodness - life can continue! Did download both the radio Stations on laptop but not the same.

Gone off again this am. I guess the maintenance goes on. it was good to have it back over the w/e, though.

Yes, it was fine when I first turned the radio on, then it went just before 8am. Hopefully back up soon....

BFBS1 still working, was listening all afternoon on my little portable radio, but
the signal is much weaker. Antenna needs facing Troodos.

Yup! Hope it doesn't go off again next week - although I have been listening to the appropriate programmes on my laptop during the week! xx

Living near Paphos Airport we always got a reasonable signal from both BFBS stations during the winter months. However during the summer months we always got interference from a Turkish station. Even Rock FM etc. had the same problem.
