WHL. Yes the rules are different for TCN's

On the Assumption of Responsibility form you have to state your income and in the case of relations or friends staying with you being at school, College or University you have to agree to be financially responsible for them. Another one I've been hit with ( and so have several of our friends) is a bond payment which changes depending on which Consul you apply to varies in cost.

Thank you all for the added information.. The person concerned wants or needs to stay, to finish what may be a longish course of medical treatment... At Immigration today an appointment was given for mid April !!!
