Trophy plates and engraving

Does anyone know where I can buy a gilt coloured trophy plate, suitably engraved, to stick onto a presentation piece? I've tried jewellers shops but they only deal in silver and gold plates for engraving.

Try in the little side streets above the Market up in Pafos old town. Just about every shop does a different type of hand skills for the locals, at really knock-down prices.

I'm sure you'll find what you want in that little énclave. But take the presentation piece with you, plus a clear drawing of exactly what text you want engraved. Find the right place and they should let you choose the metal to be used, Gilt, Brass, Stainless Steel, etc?
