New:: Restaurant in Tala square, that does Fish&Chip's as takeaways.

We tried this restaurant in Tala square last night, looks a great venue (see web link below) if you eat out, but they also do F&C's take away that we thought excellent well worth a try, also very convenient for us, ordered by phone two minutes from our house.

Hmm, this is NOT a Fish n Chip shop. It is a family restaurant.

Nobody says it was. Jim said it was a restaurant that did takeaway fish and chips as well.

Ive changed my mind, I read it as the heading suggested, quite a few tavernas/restaurants sell fish and chips and also do takeaways.

Fair enough. The heading does indicate that it is a fish and chip restaurant, whereas the menu indicates that it does other stuff as well. I have amended the subject of my reply.

Having stayed in and around the Polis area for the past few years, I would like to suggest the following:

Chix Chox for great steaks and pizza plus Cypriot dishes.

Finikas for smart dining

The Herb Garden for good Cypriot and International favourites.

The Old Town for really great Cypriot dishes.

I posted it was indeed a restaurant, they sell take away F&Cs they were excellent, as I also said '' they also do F&C's take away that we thought excellent well worth a try'' The take away we found excellent and I will go again, if you live nearby as we do it will become a regular restaurant not only for take aways, I wish the young couple every success.

Lincoln you said all restaurants in Tala square do fish and chip takeaways, please name them and I will try them all..

Uncle D and yes I asked about dogs they are OK with them outside....not recommended at the moment.

That large beer costs an extra €3 though, hope there's a varied enough choice to make it worthwhile...

Lincoln I have given up wearing knickers mate......I am certainly not getting in any state, I posted correctly and what I posted was the truth, I do not know of another F&c takeaway in Tala if you do please post where it is, I will give it a try, and not nick pick about it either.

Getting back to Jim’s original post — We haven’t done the takeaway fish & chips but have eaten in the restaurant several times & can recommend it. Lovely young couple who run it & the menu changes regularly.
