Yep its strange, I always check the water levels after rain and asprokremos has been at around 40% for weeks

It is odd, because it's feeder river has definitely been giving it a constant supply. It is often dry in the summer but at the moment it is a full-fledged river.

we must be consuming the water faster than the rain can replenish it

Re: Water levels still down despite recent rain
February was very dry, my measuring for the whole month
was 4 mm/m2 (liter/m2) 17.2.= 1 mm, 22.2.=3 mm,
and March 2.3.= 6mm
The last wet weekend (27mm) water is not in the dams yet, but altogether
it is not enough to raise water levels a lot. And soon Yeroskipou farmers will start irrigating...
Where I live is not far from the Xeros river which feeds the dam, so my measuring make sense.
