Paphos Roads or lack of one!

Has anyone else wondered whether the former road which is behind big Paps supermarket, (Ellados Ave/Mesoyi Ave) in Paphos is going to be tarmaced again? The existing road was suddenly dug up in the summer by a bulldozer which was clearing the area behind the supermarket at that time. I notice that quite a lot of traffic is using it as it gives alternative exits from the supermarket thus reducing pressure on the main exit from the supermarket to the Polis Rd, but it is only a track at present.....
Wonder if anyone knows what’s happening?
