Do you know Cyprus? Villages (#37)

Post by cyprusmax47 »

More and more solar farms can be seen in Cyprus slowly, but the question is: what is the village name at the hill behind?

I am guessing Evdhimou, as it looks similar to the solar farm on the left when you come off the A6 at Pissouri..................but I could be way off !!!!

No correct answer yet, except the solar farm which looks similar to the one just before Avdimou.

It looks like nobody know the village in question.... it is Kritou Marottou, above Kannaviou Dam. The small solar park (92 kWp) in the foreground is one of the first in our area I was involved in the past, installed 2011.

I do know the village. Passed through many times. Just didn't recognize it.

This picture was taken in the middle of the village.

It could be at Lyssos, as their village emblem also shows mufflons....

I misunderstood your previous post Louise, Sorry. They must have installed the animal figurines recently, I never have seen them in the past. I owned some plots within the village boundaries and drove many times downhill through the place towards Panayia.
