Cyprus 8999 service.

Post by josef k »

I've been trying to access the 8999 service to track OH's MEU3 application. Unfortunately it wont send, and neither will it if I use another mobile. Both are on Epic and I get an Error 69.

Anyone else in the same boat or know anything about it?

We had the same problem, we went to Gwennys to see if they would chase the MEUs for us and was told the 8999 is not activated, turns out the immigration office in Nicosia had been closed as they had moved offices, they didn't chose a good time to do it, but hey ho

The first move from the old Colonial Offices to the one located in
the old hospital grounds caused chaos as hundreds of files were lost or misplaced, let's hope this latest move doesn't have the same problems.
The new Immigration Office is easier to get to as it's not far past the end of the motorway on the way into the city.

The relocation was completed on 10th Feb. This article gives contact numbers. https://cyprus-mail.com/2021/02/16/civ ... ave-moved/
