Re: Oh dear, is there anyone still backing May?
Boris as PM, surely a joke? He’s an intelligent, fake, egotistic, lying, self-serving twit (and that’s me being nice to him) When London mayor, he was in favour of Europe. He led the Brexit campaign with lies (as usual) but didnt think they would win, but would raise his profile. He has buggered off...

Re: Oh dear, is there anyone still backing May?
Why was a ratified cabinet approach not agreed 2 years? If it had been and Davis hadn’t believed in it, he could have gone then and someone more able to negotiate the UK needs could have gotten us further along. It is now a monumental f*** up of the highest order. We are playing with people’s future...

I saw this on a footie forum..... very succinct. “I watched the documentary on bbc there and it made me realise how fortunate we are to have this magnificent institution. We need to safeguard it. Re: Cyta launches fibre optic network
Flossie, these were inter-office and within office fibre. Completely different to fibre to the office or home, with associated increases in bandwidth to the internet. It’s not the technology of the connection that has held this up, but costs and the fatter pipes needed from your exchange to even fat...

As Dominic points out, it should be debated. I cannot understand that here we are, more than 2 years down the line and no agreements in place, no prospects of trading alliances yet (I know they cannot be ratified yet, but its not looking good at all) and complete uncertainty. Some Brexit voters want...

Re: EU Security After BREXIT
Hudswell, why would security even be on the negotiating table? Security is a global matter and global cooperation is needed, so why would the UK cut off it’s nose, or indeed the EU, to say, “we dont get what we want, we wont cooperate on security” For ex forces, your surprising outdated on global se...

Huds,me auld mucked, I could counter your argument many times over.... the reality is, I’d reckon mist people in the UK are seriously fearful of what COULD happen with brexit, It may be unnecessary fear, but the notion of a hard and relentless brexit scares most ordinary people and even many Brexit ...

Re: Caritas
People provide premises on high streets free to charities as they avoid rates, which are payable even on empty properties, Many/most charity shops pay staff, few have 100% volunteers, it’s easy to spot the difference. Large charities like Oxfam, `Heart Foundation etc pay salaries. Caritas is one of ...
