Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

I've always managed to put bread on the table AA by working away from family and home for months at a time on projects and in places most sensible people would avoid. I dont need any lessons in how to feed my family.

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

Tyelawe I don't know the exact circumstances as I didnt delve too deeply but I do know they don't tell you the decision there and then but by letter. Jim Wards post says it all about how they treat the sick and because ATOS were removed doesn't mean the process changed. Strokes as you are aware affe...

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

Tyelawe Quite possibly he could, I'm not sure though many older people have pride and self respect and don't like being a burden on the state and others accept what Authority tells them. As said he lived in his savings for over ten months until he qualified for his State Pension. I was also going to...

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

Tyelawe Yes; he had to attend a medical evaluation six months after the stroke and was told he was fit for work even though it's obvious to a blind man that even now after nearly 18 months he is still affected. His benefits were stopped immediately and being unable to apply for work was unable to cl...

Re: 'Never has so much been lost by so many to satisfy so few' - Sturgeon uses Churchill to slam Brexit

Tyelawe Why don't you Google the word that offends you and find out it's meaning; its a Middle England word. I see words posted on here that in my home city are grossly offensive but accept in other areas of the country are not seen in the same context but I don't have a hissy fit over it. For someo...

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

Tyelawe As I said we move in different circles. My Sister until recently was an HEO Manager with the the Employment Agency and I asked her opinion last night after reading the comments and she confirmed what I wrote. She also confirmed what you said about Sickness benefit but they are forcing people...

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?

The unemployment figures are taken from those signing on as unemployed but the government make signing on very difficult, if you refuse a job offered your benefits are stopped and you come off the register. Unemployed are put on sickness benifits to lower the unemployment figures. The figures are ma...

Re: So...Sky Data poll suggests 56% think Brexit will be worse than expected

Dom The EU has stated that if there is a decision to have a "Peoples Vote" (or second referendum) they are prepared to postpone the Brexit leave date to accommodate it; no maths involved. Tyelaw It must be the circles you move in but the many people I know are amongst millions pushing hard...

I take this is all dependent on a deal between the EU and the UK regarding Brexit?

Re: So...Sky Data poll suggests 56% think Brexit will be worse than expected

Dom The fact is May said there wouldn't be another referendum and the BHC is quoting the government's present position but that's not to say that the government or Parliament will not change their position after this months meeting with the EU or the subsequent Parliamentry vote on any proposed agre...

I wouldn't expect the BHC to say anything else; at the end of the day he has to toe the party line whether he believes it or not.

It was the same in Paphos when they built the fountain close to the General Hospital and don't mention Tomb of the Kings Road which I think looks really good and has improved a very run down area.

Mr Blobby.
They always have since they were first issued. The MU1 (As did the Alien Card) gives a record of initial registration so you can apply for an MU3 after five years. For a non EU citizen the rules are different.

Hudswell
On a subject as important as this people do want facts, not opinions.
Also as stated by WHL, it will be a collective decision by the 27 members of the EU and not Cyprus on its own.

The information you are posting is not factually correct and presently there is no agreement so to suggest otherwise is misleading.

Re: Sorry,MEU3 again.no need to panick??

Hudswell You should re-read Alewfins post; nothing is assured yet and every may or may not change. Jim Jimx, This assumes that the UK and the EU agree and sign a legally binding Withdrawal Agreement without which there will be no Transition Period. At the moment the talks are stuck primarily on the ...
