I have just been requested to set up a Thalisupp account to pay customs duties on a package that has been sent to us. It seems genuine and links directly to JCC to pay it. Has anyone used this to pay customs duty ? I just wanted to check before giving bank card details.
Thanks in advance

Re: Sterling cheque
Thanks Trireme. I am with Lloyd’s, but their limit for that is £1k. Fortunately (or unfortunately) this cheque is bigger than that

Sterling cheque
I have just received a sterling cheque in Cyprus. Can these be paid into my Euro account, or am I best sending it to someone in UK to pay it into my UK account ? Any experience of this would be much appreciated

Hounds on Holiday in Giolou, we have used them for 8 years now and the dogs seem to love it. Mina will post pictures on facebook, if you want, so you can see the dogs running around and she is such a friendly and helpful dog lover

Do you have VPN to use it on WHL ?
When you look at the Amazon site it shows this message with that product “ This product only ships to the United Kingdom. Most content and services will not work if your country of residence is not the UK. Learn more about international use”

Re: Fire Stick
You need to buy it from Amazon. Be careful which one you order because there is a specific one for use outside the UK. We also have Amazon Prime on ours and the programmes we were able to watch for free changed on 1st January......I wonder why

Just watched Mrs Caldicotts Cabbage War on Channel 5 on Sunday. Absolutely brilliant, such a well known cast and a real feel good story. Strange title but you will understand if you watch it. Thoroughly enjoyed the two episodes.

Good and bad news
A New York attorney representing a wealthy art collector called and asked to speak to his client. "Saul, I have some good news and I have some bad news." The art collector replied, "You know, I've had an awful day, Jack, so let's hear the good news first." The lawyer said, "...

Re: Another huge church- but what a location!
Thanks for the response Jon. I didn’t realise it had been going on so long as it has only become visible to me since the back end of last year. The dome has started to appear to us this year. I agree on the location, the views must be spectacular from there. It will be good to see it when it is comp...

New building above Tala
Does anyone know what is being built on the hill above Tala, behind the masts ? It appears quite large, with white fort like walls with a central dome in the middle which is surrounded by scaffolding at the moment. It is being built over a number of months now. I don’t have a camera good enough to s...
