Re: Free testing in Cyprus for uk Tourists

Jackie: CityDoc are one of the two labs that I had found which I had found. SDD - SameDayDoctor - is the other. Both in London. As I mentioned, I don't mind paying for a test, anywhere. Perfectly reasonable. I would be happy and prefer to pay €60 or more for a test on arrival in Cyprus. The problem ...

Re: Free testing in Cyprus for uk Tourists

Quite frankly I find it ludicrous that anyone would fly to Cyprus, having not been tested prior to departure. I will be tested in the UK before I fly, the fact that I will have to pay for it doesn't matter to me, it's part of the price I pay for my visit. Jackie The problem is - where do you get a ...

Re: Return of deposit on property purchase?

PhotoLady wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 12:45 pm Where is the deposit held? Surely this should be with the lawyer so what do they say about it?
You'd think so, but several years ago we were warned off using one Paphos firm of estate agents who apparently insisted that deposits be paid to them!

Re: Flights via mainland Europe to the UK

Just a suggestion; Contact the British High Commission, they will have all the facts for you and are very helpful. I've contacted the High Commission once recently, asking a very simple question to which the answer was Yes or No. What I got in return was a page of copy-and-paste puff, with useless ...

Sounds obvious but I've bought good non-OEM filters for my Dyson on Amazon, and shipped to Cyprus very reasonably.

I can't answer your specific question, but Pavers do ship to Cyprus, very quickly and their shipping charges are very reasonable.

Re: Brits To Cyprus

July 15th is the semi-official date for British tourists to be allowed back.

Our lawyer, who seems to have contacts, told us this date 10 days ago, then it appeared in last week's press.

Isn't it a case of they are banning the sale of food and drink. You can still bring your own, as far as I can see.

Re: How many lire’s per hour.......

Annivia Garden Centre (Mr Chicken Road) have a decent choice of large and small pumps, but they are quite expensive. Not sure whether they have any solar powered ones. As an alterative, you could cannibalise a garden water feature from, say, SuperHomeCenter or Homemarket and use the pump in your own...

You could try the East London Sausage company on the Coral Bay road.

I think they sell sausages ;)
