Re: Ryanair refunds

My friend had booked a tour with Railbookers.co.uk, departing Edinburgh 29 May. They keep suggesting she choose a different date or take vouchers. They say that they are unable to refund (a substantial sum) as the contract is subject to 'Force Majuer' (Similar to Act of God). She has requested a ful...

Re: ploum! ploum!

I'd understood the law here regarding bonfires was that you must always be in attendance AND have a hose. Garden refuse in Kissonega gets picked up by the refuse collection service. It really is not good when people light bonfires on hot sunny days. I have windows open & don't want the smoke ind...

I guess we can still call our PD's after the period "to 29/03/2020", though not read anything further about this!

Re: Deposit Account with Cynergy Bank UK

If it's just for your pension, why not open a deposit account in Cyprus bank that's different to your current Cy bank? Haircuts are for accounts over €100,000, so you should be safe unless your pension is incredibly generous! Alternatively consider Starling bank. They are international and I know ot...

Re: Hands up who never expected to see this headline?

The good news, reported last week, is that while EAC has historically bought oil requirements on the spot market (at whatever the current price was), it will henceforth forward buy on the futures market, meaning that it can take advantage of cheap oil for the short and medium term. HALLELUJAH https...

I thought No 4 was hilarious, though he really should have been wearing a traditional mask as well as.

A good laugh. :D Thanks Lloyd.

Other supermarkets have been told they cannot sell products that 'closed' shops sell. So they should not be selling paint.

Re: So quite outside

I wish , I think there must be a sign on the road from Emba to Tala for motorbikes to rev their engines make them go bang up through the village. One little b-gger has 2 bikes and goes up and down the road at least 4-6 times a day, one day he'll fall off , the speed they go is unreal, ok rant over,...

We have numbers with no separator & numbers with, but with no consistency. Consumption is shown with & without a separator! Surely a separator is a separator and there should be no distinction between types of numbers.
