Re: Recommended places to eat

Totally agree with Trev re Karlina. It's great particularly the breakfast. Another favourite of mine which is easily missed due to it's location is Nostalgia. Coming from Kefalonitis (stayed there many times-It's very nice) to TOK Rd turn left and walk down until almost diagonal to Roman Hotel. Geor...

Fishmonger

As you walk away from the harbour up towards the Begonia Garden Centre there is a fishmonger shop on the right hand side.
Has anyone tried it please? Any good?
Thanks.

Re: Moving to paphos

Good luck with that one.... when Brexit kicks in, you will be treated the same as Russians/ Sri Lankans/ etc etc...I dont think they can come here for 80 days then dot off for a week and come bac...

Re: Moving to paphos

I've been thinking about this for myself. Am I right in thinking I could rent somewhere but every 80 days or so I could dot off to Malta/Athens or wherever for a week or two, return and still not have to register? If so, might be a thought for you Keith, give it 6 months or so just to find out if it...

Re: Armed robbery at Paphos co-op

Well I still feel very safe out and about on my own in the evenings when I come over. I eat in Mother's Restaurant a lot and am quite happy to take the short-cut down the back and round the side of the old Debenhams even tho I need to turn my phone on at times to see where I'm going. I think any cri...

Re: BREXIT - Walk Away!!

I had to smile yesterday when I read that Amazon & Apple are to be pursued by the EU for back taxes. Amazon has been ordered to repay €250m (£221m; $293m) in back taxes after the European Commission said it had been given an unfair tax deal in Luxembourg. At the time the deal was struck, Jean-Cl...

None whatsoever and I really wish he could get himself back over again as he's so obviously passionate about Paphos.
It'll be a bit of a shock in some areas but lots still the same. :)

Re: Recommendations for a restaurant for a special meal!

Al, whilst I'm sure Suetal appreciates your Trip Advisor research I think she's perfectly capable of doing this herself and actually wants personal recommendations. Sadly you're not in a position to do so. Have to say Suetal I rather like Bacchus or if you're pushing the boat out Theos on the hatbou...
