Re: Blood results

I’ll get in touch with Gesy tomorrow Thanks folks I have the same problem as Sadie. I go to Beneficia...

Re: Post
Does the Emirates flight still operate between DXB/LCA/MLA and vice versa? It was the way we used to take our Malta holidays when we lived in Limassol. I don't know about DBX/LCA but they never resumed the Malta flight after flights stopped in March. They had planned to start at the beginning of Au...

Re: Beauty Shop
Someone posted on a Facebook forum to say it is closing on 14 November but will close earlier if stocks sell out before that. And that there is currently 50% off everything and so things are selling fast.
I can't verify that myself though.

Re: Small parcel including aerosol delivery to Cyprus
There's https://www.eshopwedrop.com.cy Parcels are sent from their UK warehouse (where your items are delivered to) every Thursday and arrive in Cyprus 12 days later, in Paphos the following day. It's a bit fiddly, but it works. When you declare what the item is, amount etc, for customs, as far as I...

Thanks for the video Dominic In reply who those who commented on how empty it was, I was down at the Harbour yesterday, snorkelling from near Bagna and walked from the main carpark. Of course it is quieter than usual, but it didn't feel too quiet, there was a fair amount of people about enjoying the...

I have used Nicos Herodotou (Osteopath) and found him to be good.
Sorry, I don't have his contact info to hand, but he's above Soft Top on Ellados Avenue (lower Polis road).

Re: Polis Beaches - Part 2
I booked an overnight hotel in Kato Pyrgos last year. It's such a long drive that overnighting gave me the time to drive each way leisurely, stopping and enjoying the various beaches, as well as explore Kato Pyrgos well. It was well worth it, I really enjoyed it. It's a lovely bit of coast and the w...

But what happens if a tourist from category A or B is selected for a random test at the airport and is found positive? Presumably they have to quarantine, but where?

Thanks for the review. I had heard other very positive reviews of this programme but haven't started watching it yet. Now that you've reminded me I'll start watching it soon.

I have more flies than usual around and in the pool - I wondered if it was the heat and they're looking for water to drink.

I think that even if sneezing is not a symptom (which I didn't think it was), if someone has the virus and sneezes for any normal reason, then the sneeze would spread the virus unless the person covers the sneeze up properly.

Re: Bee-eaters loving a bath....
Great photos Max. I too have been taking quite a few photos of bee-eaters the past week. But even though they are often on wires above my garden, I have never seem them swoop down over the pool and drink out of it, so I am very envious that you got to see that and well done on managing to get good p...

Re: Trying to understand the new rules
Surely the important thing is how many other people are there. If you live in a district, using whichever definition you like, and the place you go to walk has lots of people who are not socially distancing then the thing to do is go somewhere else. The same goes for shops. Just because we are on t...

Re: Trying to understand the new rules
Nothing to do with post codes. As Devil says our District is Paphos, so anywhere as long as it isn't Limmasol, Larnaca etc. Yesterday for the first time since the lockdown I went (via car) from Tala down to the coast for a dog walk. Considering there were no tourists it was still quite busy. Of cou...

Trying to understand the new rules
Hello all I understand that for exercise, the rule about "adjacent to your house" as been removed (albeit the official site in English has not been updated yet) so presumably that means I can go for a short drive and then walk there. Also that although parks are still closed you can walk o...
