Very interesting Max. Thanks for sharing.
The interior wall paintings appear to be in good condition, despite it being roofless and exposed to the elements. Is it the shape of the ruined archway which suggests it was built in the Lusignan period?

Re: Vaccine
Hi Lotus, You didn't mention how many weeks have elapsed since your partner had her first AZ jab. With this vaccine the 2nd jab is normally given between 8 - 12 weeks later. As others have said best check with your PD (private doctor). I hope that you can arrange this. Best wishes to your partner. H...

Lovely series of photos! Agree that seeing the moon through the wind farm seemed to lend an eerie atmosphere to the photos.

Hi Jim, If I can go to the UK this summer, I plan to bring back a few pots of the stuff for my store cupboard. But I think that if you keep an eye on the supermarkets shelves here some will reorder it. I know that Paps were placing an order. They told me that delays on things at the UK end post Brex...

Re: Health experts propose complete withdrawal of Astrazeneca from inoculation programme
Putting an age restriction on the AZ vaccine may be the best way forward. But since the other vaccines seem to be only available in smaller quantities this could slow down the vaccination of the younger people.

Re: Health experts propose complete withdrawal of Astrazeneca from inoculation programme
I have just had my 2nd AZ jab. I did have some flu symptoms, and a bad headache for a couple of days, but am over it now. I think most people have some reaction to it, but they are mostly minor side effects. The benefit of being vaccinated against Covid, is more important than not being vaccinated. ...

Not sure Dominic if comments on adding a commentary to some of your videos is only intended for WHL? If you are interested in comments from other forum members, I think that an interesting and factual comment or two would make things more interesting!

I have difficulty digesting local village bread which can be heavy. Have been told that the local flour contains a higher level of gluten, than English bread flours. However, a dietitian told me to try sourdough bread, which I have found here as one bakery makes it. This suits me better.I keep it in...

Re: Window Cleaner - a person not a product!
My window cleaner takes about 1hr to clean my 10 windows, which includes three french windows plus the shutters when necessary. As I said he does an efficient, and tidy job. The glass in the windows sparkles afterwards. He also has reasonable prices.

I tried to sign this, but I got the impression that this petition was in fact finished. It may have originated in the north and was perhaps being blocked where we are?

My first job in a Manchester department store was as a temporary sales assistant in the Christmas Cacti Dept. Wage £5.00 per week, gross. After Christmas I was sent to the Active Sports Dept, selling mainly Ski Clothes as a junior sales. For roughly the same wage, but more interesting. This was1962/...

Great photography, but what an inhospitable area! No wonder you found concrete blocks across some tracks you tried initially... Not somewhere I would rush to explore...

Re: Auf Wiedersehen BRIT!
Seen from Cyprus which fortunately seems to do things regarding the pandemic very sensibly on the whole. I'm shocked by the blatant racialism of some of the remarks. Although the Uk has left the EU, UK Brits are ill advised to make nasty remarks about European countries. Had Boris reacted sensibly a...
