Re: 2019 a difficult year for tourism but no need to panic, Deputy Minister says

Aside from the animal cruelty issue raised by Jeba, recent bad press also has an effect eg the ongoing incident in Ayia Napa (alleged rape), the man who was run down and killed last year, both of which have been reported internationally, and of course not forgetting the numerous thefts from visitors...

Re: Paphos kidney patients ired by ministry decision on new unit

Rather disappointed to read this as this is a great initiative, especially as there is already an established private clinic in Paphos that has been providing dialysis treatment for residents and holidaymakers since 2001.

Likewise also kept boarding passes for a long time, HIC, as several years ago I was in the UK and confirming the return leg of my flight to the West Indies and the computer and lady in the travel agent told me that I could not do so as according to their records I hadn't made the inbound flight - un...

Annoys me when people complain about the condition of public toilets, when it's some members of the public that leave them in such a disgusting state. The cleaners can only do so much. One thing I always do is clean the cutlery before I use it - many years ago had a job as a waitress and we always w...

When it came to being told about the birds and the bees the biology teacher focused on the chances of getting STDs rather than the risk of getting pregnant - very effective birth control method!
