Re: Money transfer.Should i be worried?

If it is Currency Fair then there are two phone numbers that I had to use last November and this January. I was put into a holding queue so I put my mobile phone onto speaker and carried on doing something else while the music played, but I did get through and the problem was resolved (CF received t...

Re: Caught at the traffic lights

Have found a few alternative routes to avoid some of these new speed camera traffic lights so I drive straight on rather than have to go through the ordeal of the right filter system. Also notice some people are stopping about a car length behind the first white line!

Re: Caught at the traffic lights

Uncle D If you have renewed your car insurance since you moved and updated your address with the insurance company then your official records will also have been updated. I moved just before renewing my car insurance and after about 3 weeks went to the local CSC to pay the annual road tax. When I sh...

Re: Bottle caps, new EU directive

As someone with arthritic hands and especially the thumbs I find these all in one bottles and fruit/milk cartons very difficult to use. On a number of occasions I haven't screwed the cap back onto the fruit juice carton which I only find out when I shake it before filling a glass! Although many thin...

Re: Sklavenitis expands to 27 stores with Papantoniou deal

Excellent news - since Sklavenitis has refurbished and upgraded their stores (nearly finished at the Ellados store) it is such a pleasure to shop there.
The supermarket in Kings Avenue Mall is also modern with a cooked food section - I go there for cooked chicken! Great for the local tourists too!

Re: Bed Linen

Upstairs in Sklavenitis has a nice choice for super king size bedding. Just bought Queen size (160 x 200 x 30) Egyptian Cotton bedlinen from Sklavenitis which is cooler than standard cotton. Wide range of plain and patterned sheets from various manufacturers (fitted and non-fitted) and duvet covers...

Well, can’t believe it, all our bins have been returned!!!! Goodness knows what the Council were playing at but all is well again here. Re: Paphos Smart Parking

In front of the Hickory restaurant near TOTK are three parking areas. In each there is a sign indicating that parking is charged at €1 per hour using the smart parking method. However, none of the parking bays have legible allocated numbers - in fact on most there is no number at all. When meeting f...

Taking it one step further Dominic you could say the same about anything these days - difficult to know who or what to believe as there is so much going on!
The information about Covid is one worldwide example of how people were (and in some cases still are) influenced and manipulated.

Re: Biometric Card - 2026

Having initially been issued with the brown booklet I must say the exchange process from MEU3 to MUKW3 was the simplest immigration procedure I have been through in Cyprus. The transformation from having my photograph stapled onto a document to the digital era has been long overdue. I prefer to keep...
