Re: Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby links Donald Trump and Brexit to fascism

Lloyd I agree entirely with your views regarding Justin Welby in my view also he comes across as a very sound and decent man. I also believe it is very sad that people jump to pour scorn and criticism on others for their beliefs whether justified or not. Religion and Faith are in my personal opinion...

Polly & Boxsterran

The shop you are talking about in Chloraka has now closed down - the owner has retired and a car hire firm has taken over the premises. Sorry I cannot help with an alternative.

Re: Elderly Couple Injured in Car Crash

The elderly couple referred to in the article are very dear friends of mine. Some on this site may well know the husband (Rick Legend) who is a musician and plays at various venues in Paphos. He sustained a broken leg and ankle and was operated on this afternoon - his wife (Pam) sustained heavy brui...

Re: Theft from your baggage

When travelling to and from the USA soon after 9/11 we were requested not to lock our suitcases and informed that should any be found locked they would be opened before loading as they do if anything suspicious is found when they are ex-rayed. Like others nothing of value travels in my hold luggage....

Pacemaker Information Extracted From Another Thread

==================================== ADMIN NOTE: This thread was extracted from a different thread, that was very long. It contained useful information and I thought it warranted it's own thread as it was more likely to be seen then. :) ==================================== Devil OMG I am due to have...

Her Majesty will not abdicate - she saw and was part of the consequences caused by Edward the 8th's abdication. Likewise on her 21st birthday she pledged her service to the country for the remainder of her life be it long or short. There is the possibility of a Regency being set up should Her Majest...

Lloyd & Keving- Well said in all of your points on this particular issue. I understand the total cost for this particular lady and her babies was in fact 250,000 sterling - a considerable amount of money I grant but like you said and has since been reported following the usual newspaper hysteric...

Unbelievable but predictable responses with the exception of Jules and PWinPolemi which were at least reasoned

Jules - split second is the answer to your question of "how long"

Good luck soldier wherever you are and thank you.

One of the Rugby match commentators said he was walking in Richmond Park this morning with his dog when the French team came out of the hotel where they were staying and the dog tur...
